The problem

Triphase was manually printing invoices, stuffing envelopes, applying postage, and waiting days for them to arrive to customers. Every payment came in by paper check or phone, was manually entered and manually reconciled in their ERP, adding time and introducing the risk of error at every step. The AR team was stuck spending a lot on things that could be automated.

The solution

Triphase implemented EBizCharge’s Acumatica payment integration, giving their team everything they needed to run payments entirely inside Acumatica and digitize every AR step.

Digital invoices now go out directly from Acumatica, are automatically uploaded to the customer payment portal, and customers are notified of the invoice via email. Customers can pay on their own time via credit card, debit card, or ACH.

EBizCharge also gave Triphase the ability to offer surcharging, a way to offer the convenience of paying via credit card, without absorbing the fees that typically come with that. Customers who choose to pay by credit card cover the cost, giving Triphase flexibility without affecting margins.

Every payment made posts automatically to open invoices and the general ledger in Acumatica. No re-entry. No end-of-day reconciliation. The books update the moment a customer pays.
